Second part of Sam's story, almost an extended epilogue, but still full and well written.
Dual POV, Pat and Andy
This is definitely not when you should judge a book or book series by the cover.
Just a quick story, almost a novella.
This author does time skips and dual POV's well.
Another in the Walsh Family collection
Unfortunately it doesn't fully showcase Kate's writing ability, nice read but not as enjoyable as her others.
Hilarious. Sometimes long text strings can be annoying but these were cleverly done and added to the story instead of being a crutch.
MFC & MMC were in previous books as side characters. Preservation is book 7 of the 9 book Walsh family series. All stand alone although characters reoccur in other books. There's a fine balance when the characters are all close not to have it get over the top or sideline the main couple...
Kate is one of those authors that if you don't laugh, you are crying but sometimes you are crying from laughter... or maybe rolling your eyes...
It is always better when the characters are slightly older, yes they usually have more to work through but it makes for more rounded personalities and perspectives.
Some unbelievable moments, but it's a fictional novels. Main characters charming, the story is cute and all in all a fun read.
This is an adult romance (NA not YA), regardless of what the cover implies.
Second chance romance ( rekindling a romance not a romance later in life) but done really well. Dual POV and 'flashback' are clearly done. Light, cute romance.
Book 2 of the slightly interconnected, but fully stand alone series (The Kiss Quotient). Enjoyable reread.
Lived up to expectations, again.
Enjoyed this read as much as I did the first time I read it. Cute, grown up relationship, autistic FMM written sensitively by autistic Author. Unfortunately no new books on the horizon.
Book 3 in the original Trilogy.
Book 2 in the Hunger Games Series.
The book is always better than the movie. Book 1 in the Trilogy. YA, Dystopian .
Dec 2025 released Book 7 in the stand alone, interconnected Mercy Carr series. A lot of conversation and characters. Having read the entire series, can recommend the first few in the series.
Quirky and light. Adults who get a realistic HEA (presumably if we assume the future).
Characters are older so romance, issues and story reflects that.
Cute cover. Grown up people trying to live with life's baggage. A HEA but with realism.
Stand alone but interconnected to Book 1. Series can be read in any order. Cute, fun but perhaps not that fluffy. Singular POV but does jump back and forth in time, this is done clearly and neatly.
A cute, light and fluffy romantic comedy that feels genuine and believable. Well worth a read with characters that are likeable and have a bit of depth. The predictability did not ruin the enjoyment of this summer read.
