For fans of murder mysteries! Unlike Agatha Christie novels who never gives you all the evidence, Ann Granger throws you so many red herrings along with the evidence that you find yourself sifting information all the time. I love the way she writes stories. As this was an audiobook I'm usually cleaning or painting the house or gardening. A wonderful combination! Definitely recommend for gardeners who love murder mysteries!!

This book is like a slow burn. A lot was going on initially and the main character took me a while to feel invested. But by the end I was looking for the next book in the series. A good fantasy read.

A great page turner for lovers of Romantasy fiction. I liked the way the way the story unfolded like a crime novel. The main protaganist giving you their version of events and then as other characters become more dominant the view becomes skewed and a different version emerges. Quite thrilling. Definitely recommend for Fantasy or Romantasy lovers!!
