A haunted mystery aptly describes this excellent middle grade novel by Erin Entrada Kelly. The story centre's on 12 year old Lila whose enlstranged Grandpa Clem dies. This throws a spanner to her planned summer holidays as her family have to spend the summer elsewhere sorting out the creepy old inn her dad inherited. Lila starts seeing and hearing unusual things whilst there and with the help of her brother and newly made friend they uncover mysteriously ghostly goings on. It's an excellent murder mystery with a ghostly twist.
