Not as good as the first, plot plods along, hopefully the third book when it comes out is better
Loved the Footrot Flats growing up, enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and the inspirations involved
Love all the Gotrek books, been reading them for years
Loved it, just as good as the first, characters becoming more fleshed out. Being from Hastings I'm probably a lil biased.
Loved this book, helped by the fact that it's set in my home turf in the Hawkes Bay. If you enjoyed the Thursday Murder Club series you'll enjoy this.
Fun stories from his time on the farm and in the bush. Kiwi classic.
Interesting take on 'magic' and the history of Oxford. It definitely zooms through the plot. A little slow going at the beginning but picks up around halfway through. Well fleshed out characters, doesn't hold back with them, can't go into more without spoilers
