Anyone who followed the All Blacks journey even just in part over the time Ian was Head Coach should read this book. A fascinating insight into what it takes to coach such a high performance team through covid and then NZR changes. What shins through most is Ian’s integrity, grace, genuine caring relationships he has with the players and the love he has of the sport. The little excerpts from players give Ian’s words the tautoko they deserve, especially because he never read them until the book was published. My respect for him and the whole management team and players has grown massively. Must read for kiwis
Interesting read, set in a kind of dystopian Australian outback. A mother’s search for her missing daughter. It’s well written and emotionally raw. Makes you wonder how far we are from this kind of life
Bit of a slow start but once I got 1/3 of the way through it was great
Some good twists I didn’t see coming. A good easy pick up and read on a sunny day at the beach
